If you are considering trading in your gold, and would like a quick estimate of what your gold may be worth, following these easy steps will give you an idea before bringing it in!

1. Look up the current gold prices on kitco.com. The gold prices are listed in ounces.

2. Convert ounces to grams
Divide the gold price by 31 to convert to grams

3. Find Gold Quality

The stamp on your jewelry will signify what you purity level is. Use the corresponding multiple in the table below to calculate your value.

Multiply the number from the calculation on step 2 with the multiple value in the chart above.

4. Weigh your jewelry

The easiest way to do this is to use a baking scale. Set it to grams and weigh your jewelry. Then multiply the grams by the number from step 3 and you will have your gold value!
