William Henry
Founded in 1997 by Matthew William Conable and Michael Henry Honack, William Henry is a name that has become synonymous with the finest quality knives, writing pens, money clips, and divot tools all over the world. The company has built this reputation over the years because of the care taken to each piece and the process that goes into creating them.
Each component is machined to tolerances reserved for aerospace level work, often measured at .0005” or one twelfth the size of a human hair. Each piece takes seven months or more to produce, incorporating the work of 30 artisans across 800 individual operations.
The blades of their knives are forged with a technique called Damascus, which integrates up to 120 small layers of alloy into a single piece of patterned steel, making not only exquisite designs, but a very resilient, tough blade.
The exotic inlays in each component are hand picked and chosen for its uniqueness and superior quality. These inlays range from cocobolo wood to stingray skin, firehouse brick, and fossilized mammoth tooth and each piece is also adorned with stunning gemstones. All of these features are combined to make each knife, money clip, stylus, and divot tool true functional art.
